And I do not mean “whining the future” as our vacationer-in-chief would say.
Bloomberg Bans Clergy From 9/11 Ceremony but Ground Zero Mosque OK
Religious leaders are calling on Mayor Michael Bloomberg to reverse course and offer clergy a role in the ceremony commemorating the 10th anniversary of the terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.Rudy Washington, a deputy mayor in former Mayor Rudolph Giuliani’s administration, said he’s outraged. Mr. Washington organized an interfaith ceremony at Yankee Stadium shortly after the Sept. 11, 2001, attacks.”This is America, and to have a memorial service where there’s no prayer, this appears to be insanity to me,” said Mr. Washington, who has suffered severe medical problems connected to the time he spent at Ground Zero
I scarcely can find word that are not of the four letter variety (not that that has ever stopped me before). have you ever seen a more crystal clear example of the contempt in which that the self-appointed elite holds the rest of us?
Nanny Bloomberg may believe what he wants, but Mayor
Bloomberg (or Gloomsberg, as Pamela Geller calls him!
) needs to remember that not every one (or even a majority of the people) think the way he does. If you want a snapshot of what is wrong with the “leadership” in this country, well Bloomie makes a very good first case in point.
P.S. So Obambi decided to come back to Washington
White House ahead of the storm, petulantly cutting his hard-earned monthly vacation short. Aw, poor baby. Never mind that the White House is probably one of the safer places to be, (Hey all those under ground bunkers! They are probably water proof.) we won’t dare suggest that his decision had more to do with the fact that his vacation spot of choice is probably right on the storm track. Kind of makes me wonder why he didn’t opt for Camp David or perhaps even one of his tony Hollyweird friends mansion in California. Whatever.
P.S.S. Hey didn’t he promise us that he would calm the seas and cool the Earth?
