Senator Jeff Session and Rep. Paul Ryan have posted something on the Corner about the jobs report.
Today’s shocking jobs report represents a modern record of 29 straight months with unemployment above 8 percent, and falls on the 800th day since congressional Democrats have passed a budget.
Keep in mind, this is coming about even as the Repuglicans are starting to show why they have earned the “Stupid Party” label with noises of a “compromise” on the debt limit. Glenn Reynolds has some thoughts:
I heard Rush Limbaugh saying that if the GOP caves on the debt-ceiling fight we’ll see a Tea Party-backed third-party candidate for President, and the RNC will “implode” for lack of contributions. I think that’s right, but I don’t think that will happen.
Unfortunately I think he is right. There are too many sheeple who can’t be bothered to learn more about what is happening except what they hear or see in the LSM. I think the GOP probably needs to be blown up and conservatives have a party that means something. Increasingly, it is obvious that GOP is only concerned with keeping power. That makes it exactly like the Demoncrats. No difference.
