First Google, then Facebook and now you iPhone. I hope you like Uncle Sam spying on you.
Apple is, without your consent or any warning labels, logging all of your iPhone’s location data and then transferring it over to your computer when you backup or sync your iPhone. The information is easily accessible — unencrypted and in a standard database format.
I think the most depressing thing about this is how entitled corporations feel to this information. It’s really depressing to see how much they can get away with. This is one reason I ditched Facebook. I do my damnedest to not use Google. And I know I can avoid iPhones and Apples.
But who else is tracking me. There are times when I really wish I could go off the grid. No electronics, no email, no credit cards… Nothing. No trace.
Alas, in a year or two even my cash will have microchips…
