Oh yes. “Dear Leader” is discriminating against conservative states. The Arizona suit is making big news. All the usual sycophants are talking about how brave, true, wonderful, and marvelous “Capt’n Kickass” is for having the courage to take on those nasty mean people who believe law should be enforced and that the border should mean something.
One problem with that narrative. Rhode Island is doing exactly the same thing as Arizona wants to do. So where is Holden v. RI? We won’t see it. Do you know why? Because at the heart of this kabuki theater is “Dear Leader’s” pathological contempt of the south and his desire to destroy us. There is also an undertone of pure anti Americanism. Not to mention a dash of “stick it to whitey.”
So, we have a Justice Department that drops a case it already won against New Black Panthers who are on tape intimidating voters in blatant violation of federal law, but that sues a sovereign state for enacting a statute in support of immigration enforcement practices that have already been upheld by two of the nation’s highest courts. Perfect.
