Heh

Well, What did we expect when we elected a naif with no experience at running anything other than an elections campaign.  We get the government we deserve.

The longer he is in office, the more it appears that Barack H. Obama doesn’t really want to be president but only to play at being president. He doesn’t seem interested in dealing with the messy, day-to-day responsibilities of the president’s job.

Think Congress Is Listening?

Rasmussen tells us:

Eighty-three percent (83%) of U.S. voters say legislation should be posted online in final form and available for everyone to read before Congress votes on it. The only exception would be for extreme emergencies.

Too bad Congresscritters don’t agree

From the American Spectator this morning:

It would seem the Obama administration, which hasn’t had time to hold conversations with senior military officials involved in such a critical national security issue as the war in Afghanistan, has been spending far more time assisting President Barack Obama’s adopted hometown, Chicago, than the White House has previously divulged, using the President’s and White House senior staff’s presence at global policy meetings to lobby foreign ministers, diplomats and members of the International Olympic Committee.

Yeah I noticed that too.  National security isn’t important to “The One” but lining his friends pockets is.  what a World.

Wow!

This is from the left, you “Dear Leader’s” base.  Richard Cohen is unloading at Obama

Sooner or later it is going to occur to Barack Obama that he is the president of the United States. As of yet, though, he does not act that way, appearing promiscuously on television and granting interviews like the presidential candidate he no longer is.

The election has been held, but the campaign goes on and on. The candidate has yet to become commander in chief.

He went on to make this wry observation:

The trouble with Obama is that he gets into the moment and means what he says for that moment only.

I don;t think I have read a more concise summary of Obama-think anywhere.

You mean the sycohantic media is finally realizing that Obama is an empty suit?  Hey Barry.  Get a clue.  Your media lapdogs are starting to wake up.

Misordered Priorities

Byron York reports in this morning’s Washington Examiner that Obama is headed for Copenhagen to make a pitch for enriching his Chicago friends bringing the Olympics to Chicago.

With growing pressure for decisions on life-or-death issues in Afghanistan and Iran, this morning the White House announced that President Obama will soon travel to…Copenhagen. Obama will be in Denmark for just a few hours — he leaves this Thursday and returns Friday — which is just enough time to make a pitch for Chicago’s bid for the 2016 Olympic Games.

Must be nice to know that the world has been so healed by the power of “The One” that he can spare this little exercise in political pay backs for his friends.

Hypocrisy!

You knew it was coming!

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi berated town hall and tea party protesters this month, tearfully warning they’d incite violence. Well, there’s been violence all right, at Pittsburgh’s G-20. But it wasn’t the tea partiers.

It takes gall to characterize ordinary Americans, freely exercising their rights of speech and assembly in civic forums, as “mobs” while ignoring a pack of leftist thugs now smashing a U.S. city. But that’s what Pelosi did, directing her righteous tocsin to the Norman Rockwell-like gatherings of Americans who opposed her expansion of government this past summer.

Gall is something that leftists do not lack.  It is bundled with the industrial high-octane hypocrisy that they all seem to have in over-supply.
